Kichirou Kurosawa (aka 'Shibito') is a ghoul working for Aogiri tree. He is a acoltye in the Shuukaku cult.
Once a human Investigator, he was kidnapped on Aogiri, and through mental conditioning and physical experiments, was transformed into a Proto-Ghoul. Since then, he has grown much more pessimistic
Appearance
Kichirou has piercing green eyes and brown hair. His hair has grown long and messy, kept up in a pony tail. Even now, he cannot manage to get rid of two spikes or "Horns" in his hair.
He is around 5"10 in height, and usually carries an angry expression. He is almost consistently seen scowling. His right eye resembles a Kakugan, with a red Iris and black patches that flicker and swirl within his white sclera. He is seen in a black trenchcoat that visually resembles the one he wore as an investigator.
Kichirou's right hand was cut off while he was being tortured by Aogiri. A Proto-Ghoul is weaker than even a normal ghoul, and so this wound never properly regenerated, and his right hand lacks skin. He regularly bandages and dresses his right hand, and wears a black glove to hide the unsightly condition.
Personality
Kichirou comes off as very sarcastic and bored, but attempts to be polite to his superiors, paradoxically. Since his conversion to Aogiri, he has grown pessimistic and hateful towards humanity. He blames them for abandoning him, allowing his life to fall into shambles. He's also, in crude terms, kind of a dick to everyone he meets.
It was revealed during the railroad arc that when Kichirou is threatened or angry, he goes into a berserk state. In this state he becomes considerable stronger and faster, at the cost of his defense. He will push himself to his very limits, ignoring pain, which could possibly have disastrous results in the future.
He is a member of both Aogiri Tree, of which he is a captive, and Shuukaku. Recently, an opportunity to leave Aogiri presented itself when their base was destroyed, however, he remained loyal to the faction. He has known father, abandonment and abuse issues, as well as stockholm syndrome towards the majority of the higher ups at Aogiri. He sees Jack Conklin as a father figure, and after he physically punished him for failing to kill Kristof Brandt, Kichirou's strange attachment to Jack grew even further.
After time with the members of Aogiri, Kichirou has found many of the faction's members to be people that he has grown much closer too, despite those friendships and sincere moments of his newfound allies, he does not totally align with their beliefs, as he truly only currently sees the organization as a means to attain more power, and understand the meaning of being something closer to a ghoul.
Powers and Abilities
Kichirou is physically in a great condition. He has a very high amount of stamina, and when brute strength fails him he likes to tire out his enemy to the point of incapacitating them.
He isn't very fast, but he isn't slow to the point of it being a major weakness of his. When extremely angry or endangered, Kichirou becomes considerably stronger and faster, at the risk of his own safety.
- Ghoul abilities: Kichirou is a Proto-ghoul, a failed attempt to create a one eyed ghoul from a human. Due to this, he possesses improved strength, speed, reaction time and regeneration over a regular human, but not quite to the level of a normal Ghoul. This is largely caused by his artificial Kakuhou and RC cell deficiency. After gaining enough ranks and RC cells, his Kakuhou will acclimatize to his body as he becomes closer and closer to a proper ghoul.
- Incredible Perception: Kichirou is a very skilled observer, managing to deduce various pieces of information from his surroundings by simply looking (such as identifying Maki as the ghoul who attacked him in the 22nd ward despite the lack of any clues about that other than the matching body type).
Kagune
Kichirou's Kagune takes the form of two 'Snakes'.
Type: Rinkaku
Appearance: Red, scaly. Each tentaclee is 171 cm long and about 15 cm thick.
Strengths: His kagune can strike at an obscenely fast speed.
Weaknesses: Due to his RC deficiency, his kagune isn't strong enough to hold itself up, and thus when not being used for an attack trails around behind him on the ground and offers no defense whatsoever. Additionally, it is not quite as damaging as most Rinkaku, tearing flesh rather than piercing it most of the time.

Appearance: Black, with a red/blue tip depending on the mode
Strengths: As it is a Koukaku, the blade is quite strong. It can be used both close combat and from a medium distance.
Weaknesses: It's Koukaku status means it's quite heavy and hard to wield in some conditions. It lacks a protective briefcase and must be carried around in its weapon form.
Mechanics: A button on the shaft can change the length of the spear, from that of a nightstick (Blue tip) to a proper spear (Red tip).

Despite this, he respects her goals of documenting ghoul history, and so goes along with her questioning. He enjoys messing around with her, and their involvement in Shuukaku together, along with their shared loyalty to Aogiri over Shuukaku has drawn them closer. |
