Shidu (志津, Shidu) is a female ghoul and one of the two division leaders of the Inquisitors.

She is often the one to distribute contracts and rewards amongst the division members. While she is thought to be one of the highest ranking executives in Japan, she still serves as a subordinate to those from the main organization.

Appearance

Shidu is a female of medium height, standing around 5'6" and bearing a lean-muscular build. Her hair is a pale blue and is swept off to both sides of her face, coming down in longer strands near the front. Her eyes are a dark brown color.

Typically, she wears a layered white and black cloak that opens up in the front, similar to the style of the uniforms of CCG investigators. In more casual situations, she can be found wearing a black high-collared jersey with dark jeans and boots.

Her mask is mostly white, with a neutral mouth opened to reveal teeth in a fashion similar to a grin and red stripes coming from both sides.

Personality

Shidu is rather harsh and unforgiving in the way she acts towards her subordinates. She does not tend to show mercy and executes her actions with priority on the completion of her contracts, even bitterly killing her own employees on orders from command. Despite asking for the names of her subordinates, she has addressed them several times using nicknames.

In more casual situations, she is easily flustered and jokes around with her own employees, becoming more lighthearted. She has shown disgust towards ghoul restaurants as well as the Arina of We've Gone Rogue.

Powers and Abilities

Like Ran, the full extent of Shidu's capabilities are unknown. However, the force carried by the speed with which she moved was enough to shatter a nearby mirror.

• Rinkaku: Shidu has been shown using two crimson rinkaku tentacles with no notable features.

Corpse Collector	Arc	The Inquisitors invite several factionless ghouls to collect corpses throughout the 20th Ward.
Post-initiation	One-shots	Shidu and Ran talk on a rooftop in a quiet neighborhood. Ran comments on how Shidu let a girl from the initiation survive, to which Shidu replies that memory is a fickle thing. Shidu briefly mentions an operation in which many Inquisitors were wiped out.
Post-liaison	One-shots	Shidu is redressing in her private room at Yuureien when Ran enters. Ran says that Shidu will regret her affair and mentions an acquaintance of hers, to which Shidu grows furious and storms out. Ran starts to clean up the wreckage on his own until an attendant comes in and he beckons them kindly, leaving to work shortly after.
Anteiku	Social	Shidu and Ran enter Anteiku for a casual coffee break. They meet Nikki formally for the first time.
(Anteiku) Maid Cafe	Social	Shidu and Ran return to Anteiku only to find that it has temporarily been transformed into a maid cafe. Ran offers Shidu a monetary reward to put on a maid outfit, to which she agrees, albeit embarrassedly.
Celebration at Yuureien	Social	The CCG celebrate their recent promotions at Yuureien. Shidu is alerted that many members of Anteiku have also come, and enters the main room to flirt with Nikki after he has been drinking. In the end, she leads him back to her private quarters.
Arina: Begin	Social	Shidu and Ran go to the Arina run by the Rogues. While Ran remains wordless, Shidu expresses her disgust at the setup and its resemblance to ghoul restaurants.
Christmas Sales!	Social	Shidu is out shopping for Christmas presents when she runs into Maki and Xeno.
Snow Garden	Social	Shidu and Ran meet with Mei and invite her to join the Inquisitors. They explain to her the physiology of ghouls and quinque, and Ran lends her a Scorpion to use on missions where she must assassinate ghouls.
